Every project I take on is custom developed and is unique. During the initial consultation, I'll consider your goals and the scale of your land to develop a flat fee for the scope of work required, including the initial design and master planning stage. We'll also discuss a realistic budget for the execution of your project to ensure the vision aligns with your investment. Once the design and planning stage is complete, I'm available for further engagement to see your project across the finish line to ensure it is executed to fulfill the vision of the design and within the established budget.
How does the process differ from typical landscape design/build and maintenance firms?
The typical design/build & maintenance firms prioritize material margins, labor margins, large overhead, and long-term maintenance contracts over design and planning integrity. At SoulBlue Living, I preserve the Editorial Integrity of your vision. I handle the complexity—the HOA submissions, the curation of contractors, and the management of technical professionals—so that the final deliverables are as easy to understand as they are to visualize. How soon can we start, and how long does it take to receive my designs and plan forward?
I personally handle every aspect of your project and work with a limited number of clients at a time to ensure the quality of the work. During our initial consultation, I’ll give you an honest start date based on my current schedule, as well as outline what I need from you to begin. Once I start the project, the timeframe for delivering your designs and plan forward depends on the complexity of your property and your specific goals. I’ll provide a clear schedule upfront so you know exactly when to expect your completed project strategy.
