"Private homes, Master-planned communities, corporate campuses, and HOA-governed developments all require design and planning leadership that matches the ambition of the investment surrounding them."

For nearly a decade, I served as a national spokesperson and brand representative for two of the most trusted names in the South — Southern Living magazine and Sam’s Club — representing both organizations across more than 200 national activations, sometimes traveling 300 days a year.

Alongside that work, I maintained an equally focused 35-year design practice — planning, designing, and overseeing the execution of elevated landscape environments in some of the most prestigious private residences and master-planned developments across Nashville, Orlando, Birmingham, Seaside, and Pinehurst.

Two distinct bodies of work. One standard of excellence.

I’m based in North Alabama, where I grew up — and the timing couldn’t be more deliberate. North Alabama is in the middle of one of the most significant economic transformations in the American South.

In December 2025, Eli Lilly announced a $6 billion next-generation pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Huntsville — the largest private industrial investment in Alabama history — projecting a $25 billion economic spillover across the entire North Alabama region. U.S. Space Command is relocating its headquarters to Redstone Arsenal, bringing approximately 1,400 high-skilled positions to the region. CBRE ranked Huntsville the #1 emerging tech talent market in North America, with nearly 18% tech employment growth over five years and average tech salaries topping $114,000. Google, Meta, and major defense contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Boeing have all deepened their investment here significantly.

That level of capital formation drives demand for one thing above everything else: outdoor spaces worth planning, worth designing, worth planting myself in. Private homes, Master-planned communities, corporate campuses, and HOA-governed developments all require design and planning leadership that matches the ambition of the investment surrounding them.

That is precisely the work I do.
